During the Belgian Economic Mission to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates presided over by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium and in the presence of a.o. HE Didier Reynders, Federal Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, HE Geert Bourgeois, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders, Flemish Minister for Foreign Policy and Immovable Heritage, HE Cécile Jodogne, Secretary of State for Foreign  Trade & Investment for the Brussels-Capital Region and Minister of the French Community Commission in charge of Civil Service and Health Policy, Didier Matray participated, as Vice-President of CEPANI, in a seminar on the theme "Brussels: International Arbitration Hub".

He gave a presentation of the advantages of Brussels as place of arbitration. After the presentation, and in the presence of HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, HE Didier Reynders, Federal Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, HE Geert Bourgeois, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders, Flemish Minister for Foreign Policy and Immovable Heritage, HE Jean-Claude Marcourt, Vice-President and Minister of Economy, Industry, Innovation and New Technologies of the Walloon Government, and Vice-President and Minister of Higher Education, Research and Media of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, HE Pieter De Crem, Federal Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, and HE Cécile Jodogne, Secretary of State for Foreign  Trade & Investment for the Brussels-Capital Region and Minister of the French Community Commission in charge of Civil Service and Health Policy, a cooperation agreement was signed between Cepani, the Belgian Center for Arbitration and Conciliation, and the Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, represented by Sheik Thani Ali Al-Thani.
